About the Department

The Department of Artificial Intelligence & Data Science is committed to delivering high-quality education and advanced technical knowledge in emerging technologies. Established with modern infrastructure, the department provides a strong foundation in AI, data analytics, and intelligent systems, preparing students to meet industry demands.

The department is equipped with well-established, fully air-conditioned computer laboratories featuring state-of-the-art infrastructure. Students have access to laboratories round the clock, enabling continuous learning and hands-on experience. The labs are furnished with high-performance systems from leading brands such as HP, Dell, and Acer, along with dedicated servers to support advanced computing requirements.

All laboratories are supported by structured networking facilities including Wi-Fi, LAN (CAT6), fibre connectivity, and the latest software tools. The infrastructure is regularly upgraded to ensure students have access to the most current technologies and resources for academic and research excellence.

PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEOs)

PEO -1

Graduates will establish a strong foundation in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and allied computing domains to solve real-world problems through analytical thinking, technical proficiency, and innovation.

Graduates will pursue advanced studies, research, or successful careers in industry, academia, or entrepreneurship, demonstrating leadership, ethical responsibility, and continuous learning.

PROGRAM SPECIFIC OUTCOMES (PSOs)

PSO-1

Basic Engineering Knowledge : Graduates will be able to apply principles of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Data Science to analyze complex problems and develop intelligent systems across various domains.

PROGRAM OUTCOMES (POs)

PO-1

Engineering knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.

PO-2

Problem analysis: Identify, formulate, research literature, and analyze engineering problems to arrive at substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural, and engineering sciences.

PO-3

Design/development of solutions: Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components, processes to meet the specifications with consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.
