Mechanical Engineering (MECH)

About the Department

The Department of Mechanical Engineering was established in the year 2011 with the objective of providing quality technical education and developing skilled mechanical engineers for the growing industrial sector. The department is supported by a team of highly qualified, dedicated, and experienced faculty members who focus on both academic excellence and practical learning. Well-equipped laboratories and modern infrastructure help students gain strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in various areas of Mechanical Engineering.

The department is committed to creating competent and employable mechanical engineering graduates with strong technical knowledge, professional ethics, and problem-solving abilities. Students are encouraged to participate in workshops, industrial visits, seminars, internships, and project-based learning activities to enhance their practical exposure and industry readiness. The curriculum is designed to develop both technical and soft skills required for successful careers in engineering and related fields.

The department continuously strives to provide an excellent learning environment through advanced laboratory facilities, modern equipment, and industry-oriented training. With the support of dedicated faculty members and practical-oriented education, the department aims to prepare students to meet industrial challenges confidently and contribute effectively to society and technological development.
