National Level Technical Symposium MIFYER 2K17
This symposium will be a platform to exhibit the talent and skills of the aspirant engineers both in technical and non-technical base. This will leads to explore the generic ideas among student communities and to inspire the developing engineers with better exposure. The MIFYER’2K17 is intended to stimulate the talents and encourage innovative creativity of our engineers to exhibit themselves.
The Department of Civil Engineering was started in 2012 for Undergraduate Course and The department offers B.E programmes in Civil Engineering (English). The Department has qualified faculty members with excellent academic record, well equipped laboratory facilities, and computational facilities. The department provides opportunity for various research purposes in the field of waste management, wastewater treatment, and water and air quality management. Actively involved in industrial training by providing value added courses and by conducting placement training programs for the students. The department organizes an association for the students where they exhibit their inherent talents and innovations by performing activities like quiz, paper presentation, marketing and multimedia presentation. It acts as a platform to improve their technical skills.

PAPER PRESENTATION
- Two authors per paper will be permitted.
- Papers must be in IEEE format.
- One soft copy with abstract should be sent on or before 25th Aug 2017.
- The time duration allotted per paper is 8 mins for presentation and 2 mins for queries. Selected candidate should bring one soft copy, two hard copies and power-point presentation.
POSTER PRESENTATION
- A team of two students is allowed.
- The Poster presented must be of A2 size.
- Presentation Time: 10 Minutes.
- Interaction Time: 5 Minutes.
- Judge decision will be the final.
TECHNICAL QUIZ
- A team of two students is allowed.
- First round will be a preliminary round containing 15 multiple choice technical questions.Duration-15 Minutes.
- Only the top five teams will be selected for the final round which contains oral questions.
- Judge decision will be the final.
CADD MODELLING
- The Participant should participate in this event individually.
- The students will be drawing using auto CAD duration: 30 mins.
- Decision of organizers will be final.
CODE CRACKING
- Two members can participate in this event.
- First round will be preliminary test.
- Required code books are provided.
- Duration: 30 mins.
- Decision of organizers will be final.
MODEL MAKING
- A team of two students is allowed. Single participant is also welcomed.
- Will provide the all necessary equipment, and the making the model of structure.
- And then should be stable with other model structure.
- Decision of organizers will be final.
BRICK BONDING
- The participant should participate in this event individually.
- Should make the brick structure with bond.
- Per team allowed single bond structure making.
- Decision of organizers will be final.
NON-TECHNICAL EVENTS
CONNECTION
- A team of two students is allowed.
- The two or multi images or things are show , the students will be the guess for the answer
- Duration-15 Minutes.
- This is one of the fun game.
